COMMENTS:
A high voltage Transmission Line is being assembled that crosses the property over a length of 2,896 m. There are 7 “Cross Rope” type towers that were set up within the farm’s boundaries. We infer this installation as positive since it added the possibility of developing a wind project on the property, as there are points above 600 m in altitude.
Rainfall index – average of 800 mm / year.
Water resources – Property has 12 bodies of water, with emphasis on a relatively large dam that forms a water mirror that reaches 2 ha of surface, this is located 750 m SE of the headquarters;
A dam in the vicinity of the headquarters, to the west, produces a beautiful visual effect on the scenery, attracting fauna, especially birds and waterfowl, around the facilities.
A beautiful lagoon in the middle of the forest at the east end of the property;
Several waters spread throughout the pastures and in the middle of the forests;
Soils – DYSTROPHIC YELLOW LATOSSOL – are soils that are generally deep (1 to 2 m) or very deep (more than 2 m), quite weathered (old and altered in relation to the rock) and have variable fertility. In general, they are very porous, permeable, with good drainage (there are no problems with excess water). The colors are very varied (red, yellow, yellowish red, etc.).
Physiographic Characterization - Climatic aspects combined with local and regional geographic factors produce a semi-arid climate whose average annual temperature is 23.9° C, with an average annual temperature range of 14° C, presents irregular rainfall with precipitation poorly distributed throughout the year , however, there is a concentration of rainfall in the months following the summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere.
